An anniversary gift for a very adventurous couple who love to travel and do crazy things. They are doing a photo shoot on the statue of Artemis of Ephesus: she climbs onto the statue while he kneels below with the camera. The statue is splashed with paint, as if they've almost vandalized it. It's a photo shoot, though, so the scene is clearly set in a studio, with studio lights, light stands, paint cans and props around the base. A wacky anniversary gift, but they liked it.
The lighting is what makes this one special. I wanted a real studio setting, so the miniature is built to be seen in the dark. It has two strong LEDs: one hidden behind a diffusion box, like real photo gear, and a pink one for contrast. Everything sits under a glass dome.
