A miniature of Partisan Grill, a restaurant in Aarhus, Denmark. It was commissioned as a gift from one of the workers to the restaurant owner. The goal was to capture this small, fun place and its walls full of memorabilia from old Yugoslavia: books, old banknotes, albums, shirts, and gifts left by people who visited.
How it was made
The base is handmade from wood, then burned for effect, since it's a grill. The restaurant was mostly 3D modelled digitally by Elanor, someone I'm mentoring. These photos aren't polished or Photoshopped. They show what the piece looks like while I'm working on it.
